"To me, the task of gardening never seems overwhelming or like hard work. In fact, quite the opposite. I get lost in the creativity and visual reward and find it extremely relaxing and therapeutic. This passion sparked my interest and inspiration in creating something unique to complement a garden setting. I also love rocks so it definitely is fitting that I started my sculpture journey using a simplistic blend of metal and rock."
Sandy is a self-taught welder with no formal training in the arts. Her artistic motivation comes from a creative mind and the love of a challenge. Her outdoor studio is located in Bobcaygeon, the heart of cottage country! Sculptures are displayed among many gardens and forest trail where visitors are welcome to wander, relax, enjoy and see Sandy creating. |
