Care for Your Sculptures
If you would like to slow down the rusty look, you can treat your sculpture with Tremclad Clear Satin available from most hardware stores. You can spray the rock as well! It actually enhances the colours in the rock. Give the whole sculpture a couple good coats to ensure the metal has been completely covered and then top it up each year. Or if you want to let it rust a bit, spray it when it has reached the look you like! Some customers have mentioned to me that spraying with WD40 is also a good option to keep rust limited.
